• Tenant Tree is a software platform and is not a landlord, property owner, property manager, or real estate agent.

4. Use of Two-Step Authentication

• If enabled, two-step authentication (2FA) uses your phone number to send one-time verification codes for security purposes only.
• Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile plan.
• You are responsible for keeping your contact information current.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service or other users' data. Prohibited activities include:

• Fraud, abuse, harassment, or unlawful conduct.
• Uploading illegal, infringing, or harmful content.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
• Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the Service.

6. User Content and Documents

• You retain ownership of your content and documents.
• You grant Tenant Tree a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service.

• If payment features are enabled, transactions are processed by third-party payment providers.
• Tenant Tree does not control and is not responsible for payment disputes between users.

• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

9. Termination and Suspension

• Tenant Tree may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a risk to the Service or other users.
